Frequently Asked Questions

WHEN & WHERE ARE REHEARSALS?

We rehearse at Runnymede Presbyterian Church (680 Annette St). Rehearsals for each choir are as follows:

Piccolo - Thursdays 4:30-5:15 PM
Intermezzo - Thursdays 5:30-6:65 PM
Brio - Tuesdays 5:15-7:00 PM
Allegria - Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:00-8:45 PM

Rehearsals run from mid-September to mid-June.

DOES MY CHILD NEED PRIOR MUSICAL EXPERIENCE?

Nope! We accept choristers who have no previous training, as well as choristers who have had years of private lessons or experience.

HOW OFTEN DO THEY PERFORM?

All choirs perform at our self-produced concerts (once in fall, once in spring) at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church. As children advance through the choir levels, they will be expected to perform at additional concerts and events. For example, Intermezzo (ages 7-10) may perform at 1 additional concert or event, and Allegria (ages 14-18) may perform at up to 6 or 7 additional concerts or events.

DO THE CHOIRS GO ON TOUR?

Yes, our senior choir (Allegria) typically tours every other summer. Past tour destinations have included: Latvia, England, Germany, Italy, the United States, and Newfoundland.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Please contact our General Manager, Shannon Charnock, at 416-762-0657 to discuss fees and payment options

ARE REFUNDS AVAILABLE?

As we are a non-profit choir, we rely on tuition fees to maintain the high-quality education our members expect from us. Refunds are generally not available. The exceptions are:
- choristers who enroll in September and resign on or before October 15
- choristers who enroll in January and resign on or before February 15
